ZERO Height Safety joined forces with Koroyd in order to develop an industrial helmet which provides more advanced protection than traditional helmets can offer.
The result? The ZERO Pinnacle Zertec – a high-performance product for people working at height, on building sites and in workplaces where there is a risk of head injury.
Our team set out to engineer the integration of Koroyd in strategic areas – locations of the helmet which are more likely to be impacted in the event of an accident.
With this helmet, the sides of the head are protected by Koroyd for potential falls, and the crown features another Koroyd part to protect the head from falling objects.
How does it work? Koroyd’s welded tubes crumple instantly and consistently on impact, absorbing maximum force in a controlled manner, minimising energy transferred to your head.
The helmet comes in two different options – vented (above) or volt rated (seen here).
Both options are certified to hybrid industrial and mountaineering standards for advanced head protection, (EN12492 & EN397) with an ABS advanced Thermo Material shell exterior.
Going a step further, this helmet eclipses the energy absorption requirements of EN12492 standards, obtaining lower limits and higher performance which may lead to a reduced risk of injury.
