NITRO HIGHLANDER 2021 SNOWBOARD WITH KOROYD CORE

Nitro Highlander 2021

A NEW BREED OF SNOWBOARD

Nitro Highlander 2021 Tip

GRAVITY never felt so light

Through its use of a Koroyd core, Nitro is able to vastly reduce weight where it matters. Koroyd uses the world’s thinnest walled tubes, resulting in a structure (with consistent performance down to -50ºC) that is 95% air and up to 75% lighter than traditional wooden cores.
Lower weight makes for an easier all-round ride and quicker, calmer turns.

Nitro’s Diamond Laminates — a carbon fibre layer throughout the top sheet of the board — reduce weight further still and gives a dynamic ride.

A SMOOTH RIDE

As well as reducing the board’s overall weight, its Koroyd core provides exceptional damping by absorbing vibrations through controlled, reversible compression of its tubes.
This reduces chatter, leading to a smooth ride no matter how fast you are charging through chunder or bombing icy pistes.

Antiphase, a multi-directional composite around the contact points, also helps with a controlled ride free of disrupting vibrations.

ALL TERRAIN POWER

The 2021 Highlander has an array of technical features that help give it an incredibly smooth, confident and controlled ride character.

Highlander’s directional shape gives it great float.
Standard camber (consistent between contact points) helps it remain composed but responsive.

Its mid-wide shape aids float and minimises heel and toe drag.
And its progressive side cut and Power Pods (bulges in the side cut that add an extra contact point) ensure maximum cornering poise and grip when carving.

The Mountain is Calling

Due to the attention to detail in its shaping and its reduced weight where it matters — in the Koroyd core, the Highlander is manoeuvrable, responsive and ready to charge the mountain.
